System Administrator

System Administrator. In various locations throughout the U.S., design and implement enterprise servers and storage area networks. Provide administration and support for Enterprise Servers and Storage Area Networks. Tools and Environment: Sun Enterprise servers, Unisys ES7000 series servers, Dell servers, HP servers, SAN based tape libraries, Korn shell scripting, Sun Solaris, RedHat Enterprise Linux, EMC Clariion, Sun StorEdge, Brocade switches, HDS Tagmastore USP, HDS Lightning, Veritas Cluster, Sun Cluster, MS Cluster Service, Veritas Volume Manager, Veritas NetBackup, EMC Powerpath, Checkpoint, Sendmail, MS Exchange. Bachelor’s* degree in Computer Science plus 2 years previous experience in the job offered or as an Engineer or Team Lead required. Previous experience must include EMC Clariion, HDS Tagmastore USP, HDS Lightning, Veritas Cluster, Veritas Volume Manager, Veritas NetBackup. (*3 years university coursework in Computer Science plus 1 year as a Systems Administrator or Network Engineer also acceptable in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.) 40hrs/wk; 9am-5pm;.
